These letters were developed during the 2020 Film Accelerator by Werner Herzog, in which I was selected to participate. It was the chance to experiment with a form of audiovisual narration that let me talk about personal and anthropological issues of contemporaneity through my feelings: from the nearsightedness epidemic and its existential origins, to the presence of magic in our daily life to the end of reality as we’ve always known it. The letters have been shot with different techniques: from physical modification of lenses through inversion of the glass and the use of kaleidoscope, to the narration throght stills, to the recording and shooting inside the graphic engine of a videogame.
